Art is generally very much about posing and dark photography, though they are going a bit punky in their old age... probably to satisfy the Americans.
Notes:
They are a satyrical band (Gothic Girl & Christina death), though they do have some slightly emo-political moments (Feel Berlin & Sister Charity).
Virtually unheard of in the UK but big in Europe and Asia, and now America.
Friends with Ville Valo and Bam Margera (Bam directed their video for Lost Boys and Ville Valo appears in the video for Wasting The Dawn).
I have seen them live (supporting Wednesday 13) and they really are amazing.
